Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef lean preferred
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup soy sauce low sodium optional
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • Green onions sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds optional

Method
 

  1. Cook rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until fully browned and slightly crispy. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet. Stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in soy sauce and brown sugar. Stir well and simmer for 3–4 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in sesame oil.
  6. Serve beef over warm rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
