Ingredients
  

  • For the Chicken
  • lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs (or breasts)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup cornstarch or all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • For the Honey Butter Sauce
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce or ½ teaspoon salt
  • Optional: pinch of chili flakes

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Chicken
  2. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper, then coat lightly with cornstarch. Shake off excess.
  3. Cook the Chicken
  4. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken in a single layer and cook until golden and crispy on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  5. Make the Sauce
  6. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet and let it melt. Stir in garlic and cook until fragrant. Add honey and soy sauce, stirring until smooth and glossy.
  7. Combine
  8. Return chicken to the skillet and toss gently until fully coated in the sauce. Simmer briefly until the sauce thickens.
  9. Serve
  10. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
