Honey Butter Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • lb 680 g boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into even pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter divided
  • ½ teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 3 –4 garlic cloves minced
  • cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons chicken broth or water
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce optional, for depth
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Pat chicken dry and season evenly with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken in a single layer and cook until golden and crispy, 4–5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining butter and garlic; cook until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  5. Stir in honey, chicken broth, soy sauce (if using), and lemon juice. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Simmer 2–3 minutes.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
