Ingredients

  • Steak
  • 4 steaks ribeye, sirloin, or New York strip; ~1-inch thick
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Garlic Butter
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • Parmesan Cream Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning optional
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Method

  1. Season steaks generously with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steaks and sear 3–5 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove and rest.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet, then add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently.
  5. Gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Return steaks to the skillet and spoon sauce over them.
  7. Simmer briefly, then remove from heat and serve immediately.
