Air Fryer Salmon Patties (Crispy & Easy)

These air fryer salmon patties are crispy on the outside, tender inside, and made with simple pantry ingredients. An easy, budget-friendly seafood recipe that’s perfect for weeknight dinners, meal prep, or light lunches—no frying mess required.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can salmon drained well
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs or cracker crumbs
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: garlic powder or paprika

Method
 

  1. Drain the salmon thoroughly and flake it into a mixing bowl, removing skin or bones if needed.
  2. Add the egg, breadcrumbs, onion, and seasonings. Mix gently until combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into evenly sized patties.
  4. Preheat the air fryer if required. Lightly grease the basket.
  5. Place patties in a single layer and cook until golden and crisp, flipping halfway if needed.
  6. Remove and let rest briefly before serving.

Notes

Don’t overmix; this keeps the patties tender.
If the mixture feels too wet, add a little more breadcrumbs.
Cooking time may vary depending on air fryer model and patty thickness.
