Ingredients
Method
- Preheat air fryer to 370°F for 3–5 minutes (preheating is essential for lacy edges).
- Lightly spray a small oven-safe dish, ramekin, or silicone egg mold with olive oil spray (2–3 second burst—don’t overdo it).
- Carefully crack 2–4 eggs into the prepared dish (keep yolks intact and centered).
- Sprinkle each egg lightly with salt and black pepper (or your favorite seasoning).
- Place dish in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 370°F for 6–8 minutes (no flipping needed):
- 6 minutes: very runny yolks
- 7 minutes: soft-runny yolks
- 8 minutes: medium yolks
- Check doneness: Whites fully set, yolks to your preference. Add 30–60 seconds if needed.
- Carefully remove dish (use oven mitts). Slide eggs onto plates, toast, or bowls. Add toppings if desired. Serve immediately.
Notes
Preheat fully → key for bubbly, crispy edges.
Light oil spray only → too much pools and makes greasy spots.
Fresh eggs hold shape better and have brighter yolks.
Use small dish/ramekin/silicone mold to keep eggs compact.
Adjust time for your air fryer model—test one egg first.
Serve right away—yolks continue cooking as they sit.
