Air Fryer Apples (Warm & Tender)

These air fryer apples are soft, lightly caramelized, and naturally sweet with warm cinnamon flavor. A quick and easy recipe made with simple ingredients—perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a cozy snack, ready in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 3 –4 medium apples sliced evenly
  • ½ –1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Optional: 1–2 teaspoons maple syrup or sugar
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon butter or neutral oil

Method

  1. Wash and slice the apples into even pieces. Peel if desired.
  2. Place apples in a bowl and toss with cinnamon and any optional sweetener or fat.
  3. Preheat the air fryer if your model requires it.
  4. Arrange apples in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Cook until tender and lightly browned, shaking or stirring halfway through.
  6. Remove and let rest briefly before serving.

Notes

Use apples that hold their shape, like Honeycrisp or Fuji.
Start with less sweetener—apples become sweeter as they cook.
Avoid overcrowding to prevent steaming instead of caramelizing.
